SocialRum ("SocialRum," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered content platform for YouTube and Instagram creators, operated by Uptrent Media. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SocialRum, you agree to the practices described here.

Account information: when you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and profile details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google — we do not receive your Google password.

Content you provide: topics, niches, voice preferences, scripts, and other content you create or upload while using SocialRum.

Usage data: information about how you interact with SocialRum, such as pages visited, features used, and device/browser information.

Public social data: when you use trend discovery or competitor analysis features, we may process publicly available data from platforms like Instagram and YouTube (e.g. public profile and content metadata) related to the accounts you search for.

We use the information we collect to: provide and improve SocialRum's features (trend discovery, competitor analysis, AI script generation, video editing, SEO/content optimization); authenticate your account and keep it secure; personalize content and recommendations based on your niche and preferences; communicate with you about your account or updates to SocialRum; and monitor, debug, and improve platform performance.

SocialRum uses Google Sign-In solely to authenticate your account. We request only your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) via the standard OpenID Connect scopes. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google service, and we do not use Google user data for advertising purposes. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate SocialRum, including Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel and Render (hosting), and AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and Groq (script generation and content analysis). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide SocialRum's services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below.

SocialRum uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

SocialRum is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date.
